Help FCU Give Back To Schools All Florida Credit Union branches are accepting donations for our annual school supply drive until August 12. This initiative aims to support local students and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Once the school year starts, the collected items will be distributed to schools and school boards in the communities we serve. If you’d like to participate, look for deals like buy-one-get-one-free sales to maximize your contribution! Plus, take advantage of Florida’s Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday from July 29 to August 11, where you can save on school supplies, clothing, accessories, learning aids, puzzles, and computers with tax-free savings. Other ways to contribute: If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, as little as $5 can provide a student with basic school supplies for the new school year. 3rd Annual Pet of the Game Earn wagging rights all football season long! Starting late August, enter a photo of your pet for a chance to be the Pet of the Game. Encourage friends and family to vote, and your pet could win these weekly prizes: • Two (2) tickets plus hospitality to the Ole Miss game on Nov. 23rd • $50 gift card to the UF Bookstore • $50 gift card to Pet Paradise One winner will be chosen each week during football season! All weekly winners are entered to win PET OF THE YEAR and the Grand Prize: a $250 gift card each to Pet Paradise, the UF Bookstore, and Florida Credit Union! For each photo submitted, FCU will donate $10 to the Humane Society of North Central Florida up to $5,000, with donations matched by Gainesville GEICO Agent Ken Castellani.
